First Test match at HPCA Dharamshala

Situated in the foothill town of mighty Dhauladhar ranges of Himalayan, Himachal Pradesh Cricket stadium is ready to host its first Test match later this month. India and Australia will play series ender game in one the most beautiful and highest international cricket stadium in the world. The match will be played from 25th to 29th March. Pune and Ranchi are the two other stadium to host first test match along with Dharamshala.

With the magnificent views of snow covered peaks of Dhauladhar in the backdrop, this test will be an enjoyable game for both the players and the spectators. People can enjoy combo of cricket and outing this beautiful town of Dharamshala and Mcleodganj.

After getting test clearance in November 2015, HPCA finally got its first test match. After hosting several T20 IPL games HPCA hosted first ODI game I on 27, Jan 2013 between India and England and last on 16th, October 2016 between India and New Zealand, which was the first day night match in the stadium. It also hosted few T20 games in the last T20 world Cup.



The stadium has a seating capacity of 21,600, besides a world-class indoor stadium comprising video analysis facilities, a club lounge, restaurant, bar and banquet hall.
